Amy Stein (born August 31, 1970 in Washington, DC) is an American photographer known for her Domesticated, Stranded and Halloween in Harlem series. She was raised in Karachi, Pakistan and Washington, DC. Stein now lives in Jackson Heights, New York and teaches at the School of Visual Arts and Parsons The New School for Design.
